A little over a month ago, one of Arrowood Development's sales associates handed over the title and a set of house keys to a very satisfied customer. But for us it wasn't just another sale. It was our final townhome at PointsWest, marking the end of our highly successful neighborhood at the Seventh Mountain Resort.
Less than a year after breaking ground on Milepost 1, a special collection of two dozen townhomes and single-family homes on the West side of Bend, Arrowood Development, LLC achieved two significant mileposts of its own: the opening of the model home and the sale of the neighborhood’s ninth home.
With the exception of the occasional bluebird powder day at Mt. Bachelor, Bend is pretty much immune to the bumper-to-bumper commutes that plague cities like Portland, Seattle and San Francisco. But that doesn't mean folks here don't know how to put the pedal to the metal when they need to seize a great opportunity.
Every builder knows that the true beauty and value of any home lies beneath the surface. In the framing and the foundation. The plumbing and electrical. The internal structure that gets covered up by walls, flooring and ceilings. Without quality workmanship, the fixtures and finishes will never last.
Ever arrive at the trailhead all set for a great outing and realize that you don't have a Northwest Forest Pass so you need to pay the $5 fee? And all you have in your wallet are $20s?
Well, when you move into Milepost 1, the new neighborhood by Arrowood Development, your days of worrying about forest passes and fees could be over.
Milepost 1 is Arrowood’s latest development on the far West side of Bend. Tucked between the Seventh Mountain Resort, Widgi Creek Golf Course and PointsWest Townhomes, (another Arrowood development), Milepost 1 will feature 18 single-level and two-story townhome floor plans, as well as a half-dozen single-family cabins, all literally surrounded by recreational opportunities.
